2007 Results:
Nipomo Creek clean-up was a HUGE success!  There were over twice as many volunteers as we anticipated, many of them young people. It was one of the best examples of community activism and volunteer enthusiasm and participation.

We had over 50 volunteers collect more than 50 yards of trash, garbage and junk which weighs an estimated 3.5 tons!

There was so much collected that we filled the dumpsters we had ordered, based on the amount collected the previous year, and had to take a District dump-truck brimming over with trash to the local transfer station.
